Greteman Group launches free holiday wish-filled website
Interactive site lets visitors create and share digital wish lists plus see nonprofits’

WICHITA, Kan. – Make your yuletide merrier by helping nonprofits get what they need – and, oh, yes, by getting what you want. A fun new Greteman Group-designed website lets you create and share a holiday wish list – for free.

“Make your wishes come true by letting people know what you really want,” says Sonia Greteman, agency president and creative director. “Have some fun with it. I’m wishing for a leopard Learjet 60XR, but I’d also be happy with an air-to-air photoshoot in Bali.”

Here’s how it works. Choose your holiday – either the 12 Days of Christmas or 8 Days of Hanukkah. Type in your wish, select an icon for emphasis, and at completion, a link is provided to share the list with family and friends. You can also check out other people’s lists. Think how that could simplify your giftgiving.

“Facebook it. Tweet it. Tell the world,” says Greteman. “Put your dreams out there. Have you made your list yet?”

Wish for Others

The website also lets you browse the wish lists of four great Kansas organizations.

• Inter-Faith Ministries’ Operation Holiday created a list for those families in need of hot meals and warm clothes during the winter months. One never-ending box of stuffing. Six warm and fuzzy scarves. Twelve large cash donations. You get the picture.

• Our friends at the Kansas Aviation Museum are wishing for help preserving our state’s rich aviation heritage. Three slim computers. Six gala sponsors. Eight volunteers.

• The Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland created its 100th-anniversary wish list around its centennial celebration event. Two golf carts. Eight patio heaters. Twelve camping tents.

• Spay Neuter Kansas especially wishes for support to increase awareness among low-income families who may not realize its low- or no-cost services are available for their pets. One donor angel for every pet in need. Three months of phone service. Five promotional billboards.
