Bosworth, 43, received word of his promotion to art director last week. He started with the agency as a production designer in 2004.

“I’ll have a lot more input on concepts from the start,” sad Bosworth, who had more than 15 years’ experience as a graphic designer before joining Greteman Group. “On the production side, a lot of those decisions are made before they get to you…Being able to work with other creative people, when we get together and start throwing out ideas, it’s exciting to see what comes out of it.”

Bosworth has done work for several of the agency’s clients. He designed the poster for last fall’s ArtAID fundraiser and has worked with Verus bank on a green campaign aimed at encouraging customers to go wireless with their banking.

Bosworth’s work has reached far beyond the agency. He works as an adjunct professor, teaching printmaking to students at Friends University. Through portfolio exchanges, his work has been featured nationally and internationally, including recent shows in Denmark and England.

“Art helps people connect with brands in an emotional way,” said Sonia Greteman, the agency’s president and creative director. “Marc has an uncanny ability see fresh solutions and put things together in proactive ways, through a painter’s eye.”
