Sonia Greteman, founder of the Greteman Group located in Wichita, Kan., is scheduled to speak at the Distinguished Alumni Breakfast Series at 7:30 a.m on March 26 in the Marcus Welcome Center.
The attendance cost for the event is $15 per person and $10 per student.
“If you are distinctive and known for something, you will obtain some level of success,” Greteman said. “You simply can’t be everything to everybody. Companies, product, and people who differentiate themselves have a distinct advantage.”
The topic of Greteman’s speech will be taking a stand for a brand. Among many things, she will also be covering what a brand is and is not.
The Greteman Group uses a three step “ascend process.” The first step is called the “fuel” step, the second is called the “lift” step and the third is called the “range” step. With these three consistent steps, the group has found a promising way to “launch” for its clientele. These steps will be covered in depth during the breakfast.
The team at Greteman Group offers services such as social and digital media, public relations, and integrated marketing.
Some of the clients, including Fortune 500 companies the Greteman Group works with are Dean & Deluca, Kansas Children’s Service League, Kansas State Fair, Royal Caribbean International and Bombadier Aerospace.
Greteman was recently named an inductee to the Broadcast and Media Professionals of Wichita Hall of Fame. Since 1989, she has built her company into a well-respected, innovative and cutting-edge industry leader.
The Alumni Breakfast with Sonia Greteman will be beneficial for anyone interested in building a name and place for themselves in any market or industry.
